I see you're not a PUTM member. That severely limits your ability to go back and read all the posts/solutions up in the .NET forum over the last several years. The sum total of that knowledge more than covers the knowledge base necessary to reproduce RIO in .NET.

I can name several .NET contributors on the UT who also could have reproduced RIO. I'm one of them. I declined Terry's challenge because I didn't have time and I found nothing to gain. I respect and applaud what Rod did. But I don't regret not taking the "challenge" last year. I don't normally work for free - but when I do (and I do have something planned), it's for something with far more merit than RIO.

I personally don't think Einar has anything to apologize for.
