>Wow...you lobbed that one out like a rock.

Did I? Bit dramatic Kevin.

>I see you're not a PUTM member. That severely limits your ability to go back and read all the posts/solutions up in the .NET forum over the last several years. The sum total of that knowledge more than covers the knowledge base necessary to reproduce RIO in .NET.

Bit touchy Kevin.

>I can name several .NET contributors on the UT who also could have reproduced RIO.

But they didn't, did they?

>I'm one of them.

Figures.

>I declined Terry's challenge because I didn't have time and I found nothing to gain.

You know what they say, "actions speak louder" and all.

>I respect and applaud what Rod did.

So you should - at least he pulled his finger out and responded.

>But I don't regret not taking the "challenge" last year.

To be honest Geoff, it doesn't bother me one jot what your motives are/were.

>I don't normally work for free - but when I do (and I do have something planned), it's for something with far more merit than RIO.

Good for you. But I think you are missing the point. You "lobbed" enough back at Terry about Rio but you still didn't take him up on the challenge. If you had spent the small amount of time that Rod did shutting Terry up by actually producing Rio.Net instead of the time you spent telling Terry it was a waste of time, maybe it would be you with the Kudos and not Rod.

>I personally don't think Einar has anything to apologize for.

I didn't ask him to apologise for anything. I merely responded to what I felt was his smuggness. He has explained, I countered, we are all happy.

You can calm down now Kevin. Anyone would think I had mentioned you by name? But there again, if the cap fits ...
