Because they don't know that can be done 10x faster. They don't know that 100k rows can be loaded and manipulated very fast and no one will tell them this. Nobody will tell them "Don't even try to pull 50-100k rows, my app will start crawling like a turtle, because we use the latest the greates dev tool and it needs A LOT of memory!"
