>This may be off topic also - but I have had success with XML Messaging with ASP and foxISAPI servers (GET and SEND). It seemed one benefit was that the number of server requests could be reduced because of the extra capacity and functionality of an XML plus it does not flash in the address bar or status bar. OF course the browser will have to instanciate an activex.
This script will be executed on hundreds of servers on the Internet. So, we have to keep it to the minimum standard thus HTML and javascript. This is why I had to find something simple and the first approach I took didn't work too well so the IFrame did it.
>Is there a way to assure the images download with the html stream you are using in your approach?
The goal is to avoid downloading any images. Those who will run our script don't want to have anything locally except the insertion of the script where they want to show our banners. So, in the return code is the proper HTML to show the banner by having a full path to our server.
