Please de-confuse me!

Trying to use ActiveX RTF control. No problem embedding it in form using Visual ToolBar. No problem running form. No problem setting controlsource for the object. PROBLEM IS that the object acts like a standard textbox. That is, no formatting characteristics are supported during editing. Also, there seem to be many properties documented in Help that are not available in the ActiveX properties dialogue box or in the VFP Properties sheet.

I expected that this control would display a toolbar or in some way modify the VFP system menu so that you could do thiings like change font characteristics for selected text or paragraphs. I cannot figure out how to implement any of this.

BTW, the controlsource specified for the OLE container that contains the RTF control is a memory variable. The control does indeed return RTF formatted text (with very little embedded formatting characteristics, indeed, because I can't set any while editing the text!).
