Yup...It's called Kentucky Fried Chicken because Col. Sanders was a real Kentucky Colonel and the recipe came from there, but when he decided to franchise, the first people to ante up were from Utah...hence the world's first KFC. It even says so on the sign. It's about a mile from my house. They recently tore down the original building from the 50s and put up a new building, complete with museum.
