Hi All,

Just thought I'd mention that MySQL version 5 is out with stored procedures and functions. I've been messing around MySQL on Fedora Core 4 and accessing the database from Visual Foxpro ( ODBC 3.51, SPT ). So far everything I've tested works really good.

Is there a way to access the database directly over the internet without the use of a web service or sript language (PHP) ?
