Sorry if I confused you, all I wanted was to hear some speed measures from someone who uses higher version of VFP, since xml2cursor does not exist in VFP6, and I cannot do it myself.
So for as long as xml2cursor/cursor2xml is happening in the memory - speed is ok.
I know, I know - It is long due time to upgrade to VFP9 :)
