>Thanks for the reply Dragan. I have another question maybe you can help me with. I used to be able to access help (for foxpro) but it just wouldn't work one day. I get an error message about insufficient stack space. I didn't change anything on my pc so I don't understand why all of a sudden I got this error. Do you have any ideas on how to get help back? Thanks again. I will let you know how I make out with the memory problems after I try a few things. When opening a help file, Fox relies on two things: saved settings and the validity of the help table. As for the settings, check your resource file - it may be corrupt; you may look for any record with HELPPOS in it - simply delete it and pack. You'd probably have to set resource off use (set("reso"),1) excl browse && here you look for HELP*, just use CTRL+F and find it pack use set resource on help If this doesn't work, then it's the helpfile which got corrupted - either restore from some backup, or try some rebuilding technique (maybe just Use FoxHelp excl ... pack memo would suffice). If none of this works, get a helpfile for FPD2.5 or 2.6 - they are basically the same, just a few international issues (collating sequences and such) were added. The help file structure is the same.
