Really? I did a search on "calender"... and as I'm typing this sentence, I see the problem... It's "calandAr". Oops.

Michelle,
Who knows from spelling? I have two graduate degrees and still cannot spell kat.
I like the flexibility of having activeX controls available and am very pleased that M$ introduced them in VFP5. But... (always a but)... there is a penalty in terms of complexity and potential compatibility problems to using them. So I use the _only_ if I cannot make VFP do the job. There are wonderful examples of how they can be used well -- for example the tree control on the UT. And there are some true activeXperts on this forum.
good luck,
regards,
Jim Edgar
