Additionally, I understand that Oracle and MS, if not already, will have database engines that run on the CE or at least provide remote connections via wireless comm. Hey, don't forget that there is a VJ++ CE version now. Maybe that developments tools must have two letter acronyms to be considered for CE?

>I have seen it seriously asked if there would ever be a VFP for Windows CE. I used to laugh it off but I started thinking....hmmm....why not? If we got rid of a lot of the metadata constructs (like visual classes), got rid of some of the capabilities and restricted the open datasessions/tables, stuck with PRG files to minimize footprint, I don't see why some of the higher end CE machines (4-6MB) couldn't run an optimized VFP.
