Thanks Eric. Ok so if I con't do it with a recordset is there anyway to get the address data visible on screen with another text box linked via adodc? Say like to just have a text box (uneditable) which is using table2's adodc connection so that the address will be shown to the user for them to enter it exactly in another textbox using table1's adodc connection.
