Sorry but I don't understand your request!
If you want to filter for the record that is currently on the screen, you can add a WHERE clause to your update query.

Say like to just have a text box (uneditable) which is using table2's adodc connection so that the address will be shown to the user for them to enter it exactly in another textbox using table1's adodc connection.
