>Because we possible are going into the other direction and are going to discriminate on ethnicity. For example we have problems with marrocan and antillian youth. The step the dutch government is trying to take is to have addtional laws and rules applicable to those groups. Esspecially for the antillians it could mean that if they are convicted for crimes, they might be send back to the antilles. The marrocans are generating trouble we no longer can afford to ignore. We have to solve that problem. We are generating laws and rules that should prevent the spread of hate amongst certain ethnicities. We might need to discriminate here. A step that AFAIK would be very difficult in the US.

>Walter,
Walter;
Here is some information about illegal Mexican aliens in Los Angeles:
In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens.
Is this a problem? Perhaps not in some countries. We have the Mexican Mafia represented in California. People talk about the high rate of violent crime in the United States. Could the illegal aliens be a part of the problem?
