Hi Tom,
>Here is some information about illegal Mexican aliens in Los Angeles:

>In Los Angeles, 95 percent of all outstanding warrants for homicide (which total 1,200 to 1,500) target illegal aliens. Up to two-thirds of all fugitive felony warrants (17,000) are for illegal aliens.

>Is this a problem? Perhaps not in some countries. We have the Mexican Mafia represented in California. People talk about the high rate of violent crime in the United States. Could the illegal aliens be a part of the problem?
I feel your pain, yes if this is the case, it is a problem, a problem that should not be ignored. And sure you can blame illegal aliens, but I'm afraid the answers lies in a different dimension: Poverty and chanceless of getting proper paid work. Facing more or less the same problems (but luckely on a much smaller scale), the dutch government wants an open discussion how to reduce the problem, rather than ignoring it. In holland, because marrocans are muslim, there is also a (actual and potential) breeding ground for extremism and terrorism.
