That was exactly my point. Eric Rudder has a soft spot for VFP, but that doesn't mean he'll keep it alive.

Sure, he was the head honcho of the VFP 3 development project, but that wasn't where he came from. It was the project where he proved he could do other things, if you want to look at it that way. It was just one (brilliant) bullet point on his resume. And that was all more than 10 years ago. Ancient history in Microsoft-years.
