Terry,

I see you are using access 2003 - is the database protected with a password? Does the database contain macros or modules? I think that the problem might lie on the db side. If the db contains only tables and queries then it should not have been an issue. The other thing you might want to check in the access help is how to tweak security and trust setting. Do you have all the service packs applied to the machine?

I hope this help (more questions than answers...)! The only other place I have seen this has been in a SharePoint environment.
