It's reassuring to know that our modal POS solution allows current sales to be held as pending then recalled with a single keystroke (unless there's more than one), just like non-modal applications might. I guess it's just a matter of choice - and it works for our customers. If they want something - we add it.

As for the z-order, it still bugs the hell out of me, but we live with it as it's quite random, and Marcia's patch we used in the form Activate reduced the incidence to almost zero (but not quite).

VFP's still way better than anything else I've ever seen, so apart from the usual few grizzles with the buggy bits I'm pretty happy really.
