Was reading the thread and noticed you are former/current clipper programmer as well as VFP. I am still maintaining clipper apps along with a colleague of mine, though I also love working in VFP. He has not ever tried foxpro or VFP and right now he's trying to make Visual Objects work. Just curious, what made you try VFP? I have been trying to get him to give it a shot forever. I'm hoping for some ideas on how to get a die-hard clipper-head to give VFP a try. . .

And to everyone else on this thread. . .why in the hell are we still talking about this dead-horse subject????!!!!! I came away from Devcon believing VFP is very healthy even if it doesn't tie my shoes for me, and what's more, I felt that way before Devcon. I would think there are more productive things to talk about. . .-Rick
