I agree, In those crimis, a max of one or two killings, though I know of a belgian one (forgot the name) which tend to have a higher murder rate.

I've seen a few UK ones, but they tend to be too longthreaded (langdradig) for my taste. Inspector morse and murder she wrote (or is this american?) are the one I can come up with. The latter irritates me to the bone though because it is totally unrealistic (I know they all are far from reality, but this one really stands out).

Yeah, the one I really liked was the german one called Wolf. But again that is personal preference.
