Hi Mark,
it sounds like your installation on the customer's PC did not install & register the vfp help runtime files. How do you install these files? Did you regsvr32 the foxhhelpps8.dll and did you run foxhhelp8.exe /regserver ?
There is a VFP8 runtime installation available from Prolib's ftp site, you can try to run that on the customer's PC and see if it solves the problem. If it does then you need to fix your installation program.
>hi all,
>we have an application that has an attached chm help file. on my own pc, and many others, if i click on f1 then the help file comes up but on a new customers network if i hit f1 nothing happens. i thought that it might be user rights but i don't think that it is as i added user rights to beat the band to the application, helpfile and folder but still no joy.
