I'd say that the Hindu notion of Karma (and I think that Dragan was referring to it in the everyday, deafault sense) is not too far from the Christian sins - atonement - hell-or-heaven scenario., only in X'ty you don't come back to earth as a mayfly, but stay in heaven/hell.
