I'm sure that's not too far from reality. But marketing, being marketing, might also manage the conference differently and have some VPP success stories mixed in there...
There were technical reasons, 10 years ago, to push things other than VFP. But if they don't include VFP in their plans now to go after large business apps, I don't see a future for the language. I think there might be a niche there for VFP+Terminal Server.
What can I say? VFP has gotten so used to getting the (very) short end of the stick that nobody even complains when it's overlooked.
