The difference for me is the Rs lean towards strong defense, lower taxes, less government and the Ds lean the opposite direction. Notice I said lean, that doesn't mean the REALLY believe in those things, nor does it imply they pass legislation that works toward their "supposed" objectives.

Politics today seems more like a fight between Pit Bulls then politicians representing the electorate. Get rid of the dog fights, lobbyists and pork barrel spending for starters!
