>>>It's in Oxford, Ohio. There is also an Oxford in Mississippi, as any William Faulkner fan can tell you. I hear there's even one in England ;-)

>I spent a weekend there. Coming into Oxford (on BritRail) was a sight unlike any I have seen before or since. All those spires. It was like entering a medieval city. Time slowed to about 1/2 speed. Paddleboaters drifting by on the pond. Lovers kissing languidly on green grass. I felt like I was in a dream.
Hence the "dreaming spires" (I kick my wife every time we pass Oxford and she mentions them). Gone all poetic on us, Mike?
However, I'd liken Oxford more to Renaisance Italy than medieval England. However, British Rail - NOW you're talking medieval! :-)
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
