>A customer described to me that sometimes when he starts my VFP 9 application, almost right away the application main windows starts "jumping and shaking" (these are his words). He says that the only way he can stop this is by going to the Task Manager. How can I determine what would cause this problem?

Just FYI, I get a similar situation when using SKYPE in a conference call and a 4th caller is added. And this only with their latest version. Prior versions do not do this (I fell back to an older one).
SKYPE is not a full-screen application, so that makes it not as bad.

My video card is an ATI Radeon 9600, in case that helps.

UPDATE: Reading NeilM's reply reinded me of another situation years ago where a monitor's image was consistently unstable. It was found that something interfered with its operation where it was located, and moving it a few feet away fixed the problem.

good luck
