How do you mean that? I don't know how much overt discrimination there is but there is no question a lot of profiling goes on. I am as "guilty" as the next person there. Unless and until Islamic terrorism abates (no time soon, I'm afraid) and unless and until the vast majority of terrorists are not young, single Muslim men, I think it's entirely reasonable to profile.
Put it this way. Let's say you're a sheep rancher. And let's say the vast majority of wolves have never eaten a sheep in their lives, which is probably true. If you see a wolf sitting on the other side of your fence, aren't you going to wonder whether he's thinking of eating your sheep? Whereas a dog or a horse would not be considered a threat.
