This may be a sensitive question, but how many years ago was that? :o) I only ask because I think a lot has changed regarding attitudes on mixed marriages (mixed religion as well as race) during the past 20 years. Maybe not with everyone, but with a large portion of the population. Of course there are always those who fall within the 'extreme' categories...

My best friend's daughter is bi-racial (legally she is considered black), my daughter's best friend is black, the professional I work with and most admire is a black woman. Most people probably really don't even think about it anymore unless something in the media
