Some have advocated building a huge wall between you and Mexico. A better idea might be to export more jobs to Mexico to remove the incentive to cross over. Mexicans perceive that Mexico is a land of few opportunities. The little person can't change that, all they can do is try to make a better life for their family. So they'll keep coming as long as there is such a disparity and as long as there are Americans willing to overlook the rules to get cheap labor.
