I take your point. Old habits die hard, eh? ;-)

But wouldn't the execution speed be far too fast for a DOS window to be of any use? If debugging, I would rather have the code running in a trace window where I could SET STEP ON, breakpoints, throttle, etc.. If my client-site also had VFP development facilities, I would consider including all the code in the .exe a small price to pay should there arise a situation which could only be debugged 'on-site'.
