on the DOS window while running thing. I don't mean in debug mode. I don't think you can do that anyway. I mean while running you can edit the code in the DOS window to adjust things such as misspelled words, meaningful messages or anything else you spot.

As far as debugging at a client site, it is impractical for us. We have two vertical market management systems running on hundreds of computers all over the country. Many are running on small, 2-5 station networks with questionable hardware. Our error trapping captures everything, even doing list status and list memory to files that are then stuffed into memo fields. That is why the line numbers are so important to us.
