Hi Colin and Lisa,
>Are the FRX files built into an APP?
Yes. Do you mean are they included? Yes, they are included.
>This should be the only time that PrepareFRXCopy is used.
Are you saying tht PrepareFRXCopy is only used when the FRX is included?
>If they are built in, are they in a particular subdir of the app/pjx structure?
Yes. They are in a reports subdirectory that is subordinate to the project home directory. However, when the application runs under the runtime, the application does not start up from the project home directory and the reports subdirectory would not be available to VFP. So this might explain the failure. Would VFP go to the disk to get the FRX even though the FRX is built in to the .app file? (The top level module is an .exe file, all subordinate modules are .app files.)
>Are they both built-in *and* appear on disk as independent files?
What do you mean by "appear on disk as independent files"? They are on the disk as independent files, but they are included in the .app file.
>This should have *nothing* to do with memo fields.
Yes, I think you are correct. I will check this and confirm. I will check if the problem occurs in reports with images.
Lisa, Colin: thanks very much!
Best regards, Chaim
