Thanks, Dragan
You are right, it is a nusance. I get caught all the time to find I am typing in the ozone. It is probably a moot point anyway. The powers to be are having us learn SUN-JAVA. We are told we will be moving all our apps to that environment. We have some 80 apps, it'll take years. By then I will be retired...HA, well...at least from state government.

>>Does anyone know how to get the cursor to return to the command window when working in the command window. In VFP6, when working from the command window the cursor always returned to the command window. We jumped to VFP8 and find it frustrating to have to click on the command window after issuing a command from there because the cursor stays in the ozone somewhere.

>It' a nuissance, I know. You can always press ctrl+F2 to activate the command window, and then if the cursor is somewhere where you don't see it, just press ESC.

>It may be some side effect from docking or whatever - I can live with that. I specifically bought a widescreen monitor so I can dock my regular stack of command window, document view, properties and data session windows to the far right. Best I can do, short of investing in two monitors.
