MSComm32.ocx is installed and registered when you install VFP. But I need to install it on a client machine without installing VFP. I have copied the .ocx file into the clients windows\system32 directory and run REGSVR MSCOMM32.OCX. The "installation successful" message appears.

But when I try to use the control, no joy!! What am I missing?
