A hack: create a text file with the following content

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Licenses\4250E830-6AC2-11cf-8ADB-00AA00C00905]
@ = "kjljvjjjoquqmjjjvpqqkqmqykypoqjquoun"

and save as mscomm32.reg. Clicking on the file should register the control for runtime use.
