>>Have you been out to Dodger Stadium? It's a pretty nice place to watch a ballgame. The only bad part is you have to watch the Dodgers, the most unaccountably dull team in pro sports. Bring back Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale.

I hear you. My closest stadium now is actually Miller Park in Milwaukee, which happens to be a great place to watch a game. (And you don't have to worry about the weather -- retractable roof). They have this thing at Sunday afternoon home games that is so cool I can't believe it. 9 local kids whose names are chosen in a lottery are introduced as the starting home team and run out to their positions. Then the real Brewers starting lineup is introduced and they run out next to the kids. They talk, pictures are taken, and the National Anthem is played. The "starting catcher" kid throws the ball out to the real starting pitcher. Maybe it's cornball but I love it.
