Greetings,

I'm interested in building a standalone provider search application to be distributed on CD-ROM. I'd like to avoid having the user run a "setup" routine if at all possible. I gather this is doable with VFP by itself, but can I use VFP to interface with & control IE4 (via ActiveX, VBScript, Java or some third party package) without having to run some kind of "web server" process in the background?

I'd love to hear about any success stories in this endeavor.
