Hence one of the reason people are moving to client server... There are lots of solutions, unfortunatly, none of them are quick and simple...
1. Remote controll software...
Run the ap via Pc Anywhere... or, go further and set up a Citrix WinFrame server or Microsofts new Windows Terminal Server version of NT.
2. Move to client / server...
You can either look at Advantage Database Server... poor mans client server, but I hear actaully very robust.
Or, go to MS-SQL or a full blown c/s.. of course, if your ap is not using views this may be a total rewrite.
3. Use an automation server...
once again, some code rewrite, but if you move the data access and processing to a machine that works local to the data, thing would be alot faster... of course, this is close to 3-tier stuff, and depending on your ap, could mean alot of rewrite.
