I need to assign a folder to a letter drive. As in:
SUBST D: C:\DATA
In DOS worlds there was AUTOEXEC.BAT file that could probably work for this command. Where would you recommend to put this command on an XP Pro machine? And it would be nice if the OS would run this command before it assigns letters to an EXTERNAL hard drive.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
