i searched using the quotes and i did get the db connections links but the way the phrase was put to me i got the feeling that a recycled db was a category of db, i just figures that it was very old given the 15-20 year old nature of their systems. it was a manager that said it was a recycled db so maybe he is confused. thanks for getting back
