All old FP code were based on relations and many extra caution to prevent wrong updates, refreshes etc. Relations are not death and still an important part of xBase but I vote for views too.

(Sigh) It's so much easier when everone agrees. My instinct is to go by what my company paid $1500 for me to learn, but now there's two of you against the idea. Unfortunately, no matter how much I search my mind, I can't remember why he said using views in a grid was bad. I just remember him saying for updating it's better to deal with the tables directly.
