I copied the entire app directory to another XP machine, and there it creates the foxuser files in the same directory (as the .exe)

I then changed config.fpw to
resource = your_app_drive:\your_app\TEMP\foxuser.dbf

and tried again, it does not create the files in the TEMP directory, and I get the impression that config.fpw is totally ignored

I looked at environment variables on both XP machines to look for stuff there, and I can't see anything VFP related
