I have used python extensively... but only as replacement for http-mangling, replacing foxisapi with VFP+mod_python. Very pleasant experience. I'm currently on VFP to python mental conversion for every day business including UI.

I'm in the process of reading the brilliant "wxpython in action" book by Noel Rappin and Robin Dunn with a view to jump off the MS bandwagon. Of course running python on the MS runtime looks an attractive alternative as well for future ex-VFPers (the fox is still not dead!).

It would be nice if we could get your feedback on the UT once you got your feet wet on IronPython.Net. Python and VFP have so much in common (including smart and high-morale communities)
