I'm an American. How else should I behave?

My point in mentioning brown air was simply to say that the US is not the only one polluting.

Do you have some statistics to back that up?

Vehicle taxes in the US are levied by states, not the federal government. In Texas, the larger the vehicle, the higher the annual tax. In addition, we are required to have cars inspected every year to make sure they meet clean air standards.

You assume we are doing nothing to control pollution over here. You are wrong.
