I thought that Sadist Insane was truly insane! With all the dialogue about WMD’s, the issues and dead lines, he just stood there and defied the world. He obviously did not care about the consequences, or was so disillusioned that he thought that Iraq was infallible.

I will not be so daft as to say it conclusively indicated active WMD programs, but there were plenty of questions regarding Iraq's non-compliance in many areas. There are still questions regarding large quantities of missing nerve and biological agents. It may only mean that the Iraqis were sloppy bookkeepers, but when it comes to WMDs those kind of questions shouldn't be answered with shoulder shrugs.
