I read a few months back how it's reverting to a "frontier town", lawless, corrupt state, losing its infrastructure and wester attributes like night clubs, and of the journalists' increasing feeling of unease, etc. I wouldn't go there "for a big clock" (but I'd gladly send John there!) :-)
