I have a machine with SQL Server 2000 where the data files were put on an external HD. That HD is now gone. The service is still pointing there, and I can't seem to change that through any designer.

Is there a way that I can change where those are pointing? I don't care about the data on that other HD... I just want to be able to use the installation again.

I guess I can always uninstall and reinstall, but I figure it would be good for me to learn how to do this.
