No wonder they can't get the docs right :-). I've tested this on FPD 2.0, FPD 2.5, FPW 2.5, FPW 2.6a, VFP 5.0 and 5.0a. They all behave the same way in that if the path is specified, that's where the temp files go. However, when you don't specify, they can end up in the root directory or the window's temp files directory (that I know of) depending on the version.
