I used to read the manual cover-to-cover, or at least skim it completely. It seems to trigger some mechanism in my brain that says "I know I've seen that somewheres before", and I could go back to it. Now my only problem is remembering WHERE I saw it!

Boy, have I gone through that before. The only advantage that manuals on CD have is that you can do a search and maybe find the answer with a keyword (if the author included it). The bad part is that you can't take it to the "can" with you.:-)
