Wait a minute... How many were killed during Stalin's great purge????? Something like 1.2 million party members? 25 million farmers were forced to state farms and collectivism killed 14.5 million people. During that process the agricultural output actually went down 25%. Let's see, Stalin also believed that England and the U.S. would fall (well imperialism anyway) and socialism would prevail. Socialism is moving across the globe, so maybe he will be proven right afterall. Now that's a scary thought.

I just remembered that when I lived in Germany there were green vans around all the time with legal eavesdroppin going on. It always bothered me that Germany could eavesdrop on its citizens at any time it wanted to. Is that no longer legal in Germany?
